MEAICHOMA GIRL TALK FORUM – Sistagirl Foundation

GETTING STARTED

STEP 1

If you have decided to bring MeiCHOMA Girl Talk forum to your school or community, you will need to find a person in authority such as school Principal/teacher/Parent or any trusted guardian.

STEP 2

Next, schedule a meeting to get MeiCHOMA Girl Talk Forum approved at your school, church or community group (Feel free to contact Sistagirl Foundation to help you or encourage those in authority and secure an Advisor and your school or other organisation’s approval).
Then you’re ready to apply to become an official MeiCHOMA Girl Talk leader.
You and your peer group will have to fund raise in order to buy stationary (journal, pens, record meetings, keep minutes and members contact book etc).

APPLY

When you begin the application process online you will be prompted to provide the following information:

You will be asked basic contact information (name/copy ID/school name and phone).
Download an application contract online for MeiCHOMA Girl Talk Leader/Advisor Team member, fill it in and send it to us.
Copies of Leader and Advisor photo ID: This is for your protection. When working with minors we are required to ensure the safety of both participants.
Once you complete your application process, you may either fax or scan and email your contracts and ID to info@sistagirl.org.za

When all the information is received and approved, you will receive a notification that you have been successfully activated in our system.
The purpose of the Leader and Advisor Contracts is to give you overview of your commitments to MeiCHOMA Girl Tal Forum and the girls you will be working with.
Your Advisor is a key park of your forum success. Read the contract carefully and make a commitment to your Advisor, make a commitment to your Advisor, the girls you will be helping and yourself as a representative of the MeiCHOMA Girl Talk Forum. Once you have both read over your contracts, you and your advisor should sign them and make copies for each of your files. Mail or scan and email the original contracts back to the Sistagirl Foundation.

TIPS

Use a flip file to keep all of your important MeiCHOMA GIirl Talk Forum information. This will help you stay organized and will allow you to pass it down to future Leaders when you graduate.
